Olson Lake is a 60-acre lake east of Interstate 90. The best entry for Olson Lake is from the Harlem Road entrance. Amenities at Olson Lake include a beach area, swimming area, and launch for kayaks, paddle boards, and other self carry watercraft. There is no charge to launch at Olson Lake. Internal combustion engines are not permitted on Olson Lake.
Entrance fee to the beach at Olson Lake is $5 for anyone over 4 feet. For those under 4 feet the entrance fee is $2.50 and children 3 and younger get in free. Pets are not allowed on the beach.
Olson Lake Beach is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 12PM-7PM, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather or forecast, please call the Outdoor Store to ensure the beach is open.
OLSON LAKE AND BEACH ARE ONLY ACCESSIBLE FROM THE HARLEM ROAD ENTRANCE FOR THE 2023 SEASON. ENTRY FROM THE 173 ENTRANCE WILL NOT PERMIT ACCESS TO OLSON BEACH. YOU CANNOT ACCESS THE REST OF THE PARK FROM OLSON BEACH.
